It's been so long

It's been way to long since I've posted anything so I thought I'd tell you why. First of all, on January 4th my sweet new baby granddaughter (Paisley Grace) came into this world. It was so fun to see her being born. Mother (Kim) and baby are both doing great! I've also been watching her while Kim goes to work (only once or twice a week). Paisley is such a good baby, she hardly cries and stays awake for hours at a time just looking around. I could just hold her for the entire time but I don't.

I've also been spending time with my daughter Nicole. She has been teaching me more and more about digital scrapping. I really want to become a designer and sell in her store at Stuff To Scrap. So I'm trying to learn a lot of things. It's more difficult than I thought it would be but I am really enjoying it and can't wait til I feel more comfortable designing. I'm so happy my children live close so by that I can spend time with them. And I'm so thankful for their help when I need it.

On February 1st I hope you come back to my blog and check out the exciting things that will be going on. Stuff To Scrap is having a Road Trip and I'm participating along with many other fabulous designers who will be giving away awesome mini kits, papers, and templates. Plus the colors are so beautiful, you'll love it!

Be Thankful and freebie's

I've had such a busy weekend and have gotten so many things accomplished in our house. First on Thursday night I stayed overnight at my daughters house and tended 4 of my beautiful Grandchildren. They were such good kids for me and the older 2 were so helpful. It was really fun to spend time with them and get so many hugs and kisses from the 2 younger ones. I also stayed at their house on Friday night until around midnight when my daughter and her husband came home from their vacation. I let the older 2 sleep at their cousins house and got so much love from the younger ones again that night. I really did have a good time with them. I can't think of anything more fun than being a Grandma. I feel so blessed to have both of my daughters and their families live so close to me. I tell them all the time I love them, and I hope they really know I do.
Also on Saturday and Sunday Bryan and I finished up some small projects we had going on in the house. We finally got the microwave off the counter top and put above the stove. We got new shelfs put up so things look so much more organized (if that's possible) and we bought a new freezer. Believe it or not, it's almost full. Just getting these small things finished felt so good. Bryan still has many projects started that I can't wait to get done. I think it's never ending when you have a house. There is always things to do, especially around here.

Well today I want to show you a newly released kit by Digi-Designs By Nicole called Be Thankful. It's absolutely beautiful and when I first saw it, I fell in love with the colors. I am thankful so many things and each day I think of something I'm truly thankful for and try to remember how blessed I really am. Here's the beautiful kit preview and it's linked to the store.

Boo-tiful Babies and freebie's

It's Friday and I'm so excited. Tonight is our family's Halloween party. My daughter has this party every year in her garage. We have so much fun decorating it and getting all dressed up for the night. We eat, play games and visit. The kids love it, okay so do the adults. I can't wait to take a bunch of pictures and scrap them all. Kit preview is linked to the store. There is also coordinating cardstock and glitter paper available too.

Today Mommy Made This has a new kit out called Boo-tiful Babies. It's perfect for baby girls and boys but it's also cute for Halloween pictures of your little ones all dressed up. However, as you'll see by my layouts, it's versatile enough to use for other pictures as well.

Template Temptations Volume 11

Hello to all my scrapping friends. I hope you had a great weekend. I did, and the weather was beautiful here in Utah. Bryan bought an old boat last year to fix up so we could take the grandchildren fishing. Well he's worked so hard on it and we took it for a test ride. We went to Utah Lake and had a blast. We didn't fish, we played in the water. I'll have to do some layouts of the pictures that we took.

Anyway, sometimes I'm in such a hurry to get my layouts finished that I use a template and today I want to show you a new template that's just been released. Thanks to Digi-Designs by Nicole, she's released Template Temptations Volume 11. Image linked to store.

I'm so glad it's Friday and I'm looking forward to the weekend. Not sure why because the weather here in Utah isn't going to be nice and sunny. It's going to be cold and windy and probably even some snow on the ground in the valley with 1 to 3 feet of new snow in the mountains. Makes me wonder if Spring is really here. I've already planted a lot of flowers my front yard and have had to cover them up at nights so they make it through our cold weather.

They have so much energy, it's amazing and besides that they are so dang beautiful.
